Eestlased Belgias... = maitsev!
After two weeks of Spain, Maarten, Eiko and I went to the airport after a short stop home. Not to depart ourselves but to pick up our Estonian friends who came over for the second part of the exchange program. The Estonians from Noorteklubi Händikäpp en the Belgian group from Jong-KVG had a marvellous week in De Linde in Retie.
And Eiko? Eiko slept during the sessions, slept during sports, slept during games, slept during excursions, slept during meals, and played football for ten minutes in the evening after a tiring working day before going to bed early… It felt like it was all too much for her. Luckily it’s better now: she wags her tail again when I ask her to do something for me!
I don’t know why, but she didn’t show the Estonians her best side: she was calm and sleepy the whole day. In spite of her sleepiness, they all thought of Eiko as a Superdog: calm, obeying, sleeping when necessary, playful after work, etc. But I missed my little stubborn crazy Miss Eiko! Only those who knew her already agreed with me.
Probably my weird mood had something to do with it but that week I realised that my little Eiko’s getting older…
